About Us |
|
We are a happy, friendly, reliable string quartet, based in the Staffordshire /
West Midlands. Our quartet includes experienced instrumental teachers
and specialises in weddings and civil partnerships. We also cater for private
functions, anniversaries, garden and birthday parties.
We have a wide repertoire to suit all musical tastes including selective
popular, light or classical to create the perfect atmosphere for your day. We
can provide music suitable for your ceremony, drinks reception or wedding
breakfast, always creating the perfect mood for the moment. We are happy to help
with your music selection, either from our own repertoire or by arranging your
special choice wherever possible.
To eliminate anxieties, we would always be at the venue approximately 30 minutes before we are due to start.
Distance is no object. Our recent venues have included :-
Weddings
The Ceremony
We are usually asked to play for guests’ arrival before the ceremony begins, the entrance of the bride, the signing of the register and finally the departure. This normally takes approximately 1 hour.
Drinks Reception
This normally takes between 1 and 1.5 hours of music, to include the receiving line if required.
Wedding Breakfast
A normal meal requires 1.5 to 2 hours of music (including a small break if required), terminating shortly before the speeches.
The above sections of the wedding can be catered for individually, or in any combination.
